Global Marble Emporium

The shop, Global Marble Emporium, is located at No. 416 on Poonamaliee High Road. If you know Maduravoyal, you know the traffic can be a lot sometimes. We are right in the middle of all that. It’s a pretty straightforward place where we keep our marble. There’s no big marketing team here, just us moving slabs and helping people who walk in. The building is simple and we use every bit of space we have for the inventory. Being on Poonamaliee High Road means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Some stop because they saw the sign, others have known us for a while. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the stones because the road outside stays busy. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and showing the different pieces we have in stock. Maduravoyal has changed over the years but we’ve stayed here at number 416. We don't really do anything besides sell marble. There are no fancy chairs or coffee machines for customers, just the stone and the tools we use. We keep our own hours and mostly just focus on getting the slabs loaded onto the trucks. It’s a honest way to make a living and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Just a marble shop on a main road where we do our daily work without any fuss.
