Universal Stones

Down here at No.123 on Poonamallee High Road, things stay moving. Being in Varalakshmi Nagar near Maduravoyal means we get plenty of traffic passing by our doors every single day. We’ve set up our stone yard right here because it’s a central spot for anyone building things in this part of town. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. Between the horns on the high road and our own guys moving heavy slabs, there is always a bit of a racket. We carry all sorts of stones for floors and counters, mostly because people are always asking for something different. Most of our day is spent walking around the yard, showing people the different batches that just came in. It’s dusty work and by the evening, everyone’s clothes are covered in stone grit. We don’t really have a big office team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the deliveries go out on time and the inventory is stacked right so it doesn’t fall over. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit of a mess, but we manage. People like coming here because we’re easy to find and we don't try to make things more complicated than they need to be. We just have the stone, we tell you what it is, and we figure out how to get it to your site. It keeps us quite busy most days and we are usually around if you need to look at slabs.
