Morning Star & Company

We are over at Morning Star & Company on Thiruvottiyur High Road. Specifically, the place is No. 652/448-9, right near Village Road in Nahur-w Bhandup. It’s a busy part of the city. Usually, the mornings are the loudest with all the trucks going past. We have been in this building for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a maze back here sometimes. You might miss the turn if you aren't looking. The door stays open mostly to let the breeze in, though it brings the dust too. We aren't a huge corporation. It is just us here doing what needs doing every day. If you come by, you’ll probably see a couple of us moving boxes or sitting at the old wooden desks. We don't have any flashy signs or bright lights. Just the name on the door and the address. The neighbors know us. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. New shops come and go but we stay put at this spot. It’s a practical space. Nothing is there just for show. We focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we run out of tea, and someone has to run down the street to the stall. That is just how life is at the shop. We keep the paperwork in stacks and try to keep up with the phone calls. It is simple work, really. Nothing too fancy.
