Irfan Implements

Irfan Implements is located at 2, Santhipuram Road in Kovalam. We have a small yard where we keep most of the bigger implements. It’s a quiet area compared to the main town, but we stay busy with the local needs. We spend most of our time working with iron and wood to make tools that last. You’ll usually find someone out back with a hammer or a grinder. We aren't a big factory; it's just a few of us who know how to put things together. The salt air from the coast sometimes makes the metal rust faster if we aren't careful, so we have to keep everything greased or painted. People come to us from all over Kovalam when they need something specific made or if an old tool needs a new handle. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything is just laid out where we have space. Sometimes the orders pile up and we have to work late under the shop lights. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied. We’ve been at this address for years and people know the blue gate on Santhipuram Road. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth has always been enough for us. If a tool works well, the person who bought it will tell their neighbor. That is how we have always done things here, and it seems to work out for everyone involved.
