B. D. Srivastava & Sons

We have been here at B. D. Srivastava & Sons on Venkatramana Round Road for a good while now. Mahalingapuram is a busy place, and our spot is right in the middle of it all. Most days start pretty early when the sun is just coming up and the traffic hasn't gotten too loud yet. It's just a regular family-run place, nothing fancy to look at. We spend most of our time keeping things organized and dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes the fans don't work like they should, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoons. People know us around here because we’ve been in the same spot for years. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most of our work is just keeping up with the daily tasks and making sure the records are straight. The office has piles of papers and the chairs are a bit old, but it works for us. My sons are involved too, helping out where they can. We see the same faces walking past the window every morning on their way to work. It’s a quiet routine, mostly. We just keep our heads down and handle the business day by day. There isn't a lot of drama here, just the usual stuff you deal with when you're running a place like this in a neighborhood like ours. We mostly just focus on getting through the paperwork and seeing who comes in.
