Our center is on the 5th floor of the Auras Corporate Centre. That’s at 98-A Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai in Mylapore. Being in Mylapore means we are right in the middle of a very busy part of Chennai. The building is quite tall and has a lot of other offices in it. When you get off the elevator on the fifth floor, you’ll find us. We have several classrooms set up for skill development training. It’s a practical space with whiteboards, projectors, and rows of chairs. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff needed for teaching. You can see the city and the sea from some of the windows if the weather is clear. It’s a professional environment but it's not stiff. People from all over come here to learn new trades or improve their skills. The hallways can get a bit crowded during the break times when everyone comes out at once. We have a small reception area where people check in for their classes. The staff spends a lot of time organizing the schedules and making sure the equipment is working. It’s a lot of coordination to keep the classes running smoothly every day. RK Salai is always busy with cars, so we hear the honking even up on the fifth floor. It’s just part of being in this area. We have been here for a good while.
