Peddanakshi Agro Foods Agri Commodity Trade

Our office is over at No. 26 in the Sbi Colony, right off Ennor High Road in Tiruvottiyur. It’s a loud area with all the trucks going by, but it’s where the action is for commodity trading. We spend our days watching prices and talking to suppliers. It’s not a job for someone who likes peace and quiet. The phones are usually ringing and there’s always a ledger that needs updating. We trade in all sorts of agri commodities. It’s mostly about knowing who has what and who needs it. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we’ve seen the market go up and down. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the heat in Tiruvottiyur is brutal, and the AC struggles to keep up. We just keep working through it. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to facilitate good trades for the people we work with. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the logistics of moving tons of food around. Things get delayed, shipments get stuck, and we have to figure it out. It’s a messy business sometimes, but it’s what we know. We’re just a small team of traders doing our thing every day. There is a small coffee shop around the corner where we usually take our breaks and complain about the traffic on the high road.
