Being in Chennai, especially a busy place like Anna Nagar, means there is always something going on outside our door. Our office is right there on the main street, so it’s easy to get to, but the traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. We’ve been here for a while now, working on the agro business side of things. It’s a lot of office work, mixed with trips out to see how things are going on the ground. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a few of us handling the day-to-day tasks. The space we have is filled with files and some samples of what we deal with. We don’t bother with fancy decorations or anything that looks too polished. It’s a working office, plain and simple. We usually grab lunch at one of the small shops nearby and then get back to work. Anna Nagar is a nice place to be, even if it’s a bit crowded. We handle the 600040 area and beyond. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on shipments. It’s steady work, and we don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. We just keep the business running and try to stay organized. It gets noisy with the buses, but you get used to it after a week or two.
