Tero

Tero is located in the Power Apartments on Nerkunram Road. Our specific spot is 4/19. If you know the Vadapalani area of Chennai, we are right in the middle of it. It’s a lively neighborhood with plenty going on. Our office is inside a residential-style apartment building, which makes it feel a bit more like home than a cold business center. We handle various local projects from here. It is a small team, and we usually know what everyone else is working on just by looking over their shoulder. There isn't any fancy lobby or receptionist. You just walk in and we're there working. We use simple English and don't try to sound like a giant corporation. We are just local people doing our jobs. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about the heat or the local news. We deal with technology and services, but we keep it very down-to-earth. The space is a little cluttered with papers and computer parts, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big marketing budget or a mission statement on the wall. We just show up every morning, open the windows, and get to work. It’s a steady life and we like being part of the Vadapalani community. It works for us. We've got a small fridge for our lunches and a few plants on the windowsill that we sometimes forget to water. It is a real place with real people.
