Techno Cat Farm India Private Limited is situated at 3/196C, BTR Nagar in Masinaikenpatti. The name sounds a bit modern, but at the end of the day, we are just working with the land like everyone else. We try to use some newer methods to make farming a bit more efficient. BTR Nagar is a decent place to work from. Our building is pretty straightforward—nothing you’d see in a magazine. Inside, it’s a mix of computer screens and some farming gear. We spend our mornings checking on how the different projects are going. Masinaikenpatti has a lot of farming history, so we try to respect that while bringing in new ideas. It’s not always a smooth process. Sometimes the technology doesn't work the way we want it to, or the soil has other plans for us. We have a small team of people who actually care about what they are doing. We don't use a lot of corporate jargon or big words. We just talk about what works and what doesn't. Sometimes we stay late when a delivery is coming in or when we need to fix something that broke. It’s a lot of trial and error. We aren't a huge corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a local team in Masinaikenpatti trying to do something useful. It feels good when a plan actually works out and the harvest is good.
