Tea Wheelers Private Limited

Tea Wheelers is set up on the 1st floor of the Chitrakoot building. That’s at Plot 141 on 8th Street, inside AVM Avenue in Virugambakkam. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s pretty calm. We decided to start this because we all drink far too much tea anyway. The office is basically just a room with some boxes of samples and a few chairs. We spend our afternoons tasting different blends. It’s not as fancy as it sounds. Mostly it’s just boiling water and taking notes in messy handwriting. We don't have a big storefront with neon lights. Most of our work is done through calls and meeting people at their own places. The building itself is older, and the stairs creak a little when you walk up. We share the floor with a few other small businesses. Sometimes we swap tea for whatever they’re doing. It’s a friendly enough place. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to tell us how to talk to people. We just tell them what we have and see if they want it. Our desks are covered in mugs and tea stains. We try to keep it tidy, but when you're busy, things get cluttered. We don't mind. It’s a comfortable spot to work. We like being in Virugambakkam because it’s easy for us to get around the city from here.
