Swadhika Foods Llp is located in Mylapore, which is one of the oldest parts of Chennai. Our office is at New No. 12, Old No. 47, on First Main Road in C.I.T. Colony. It’s a nice area with a lot of trees and old houses that have been turned into offices. Being in 600004 means we are right in the middle of all the culture and history of Mylapore. We work in the food industry, but we don’t have a big factory here. This is where we handle all the management, the sales, and the coordination for our food products. The office is usually full of people talking on phones or looking at spreadsheets. We deal with a lot of different types of food, often frozen or processed stuff that goes to different markets. C.I.T. Colony is a bit quieter than the main temple area of Mylapore, which is good for getting work done. We don’t have a flashy entrance. It’s just a regular building where we’ve set up shop. Our team is pretty small, and we’ve all been together for a while. We don’t bother with corporate talk. We just focus on making sure the shipments are on time and the quality is what it’s supposed to be. Sometimes we grab coffee from the local shops nearby when things get stressful. It’s a grounded way to run a business. We like being in this part of town because it feels like real Chennai.
