Our shop is located on Nelson Manickam Road in Aminjikarai, specifically in the Mehta Nagar area. We go by New No 117 now, though our old number was 138, and some people still use that when they’re trying to find us. It’s a very busy street, so there’s always a lot of activity right outside our front door. We have been dealing with marble and granite for many years at this same spot. Our space is basically a big warehouse filled with stone slabs from floor to ceiling. It’s not a fancy place to look at, but it’s where all the work happens. We spend our days helping people pick out the right stone for their homes or offices. We have all kinds of patterns and colors, and we just walk people through the stacks until they find something they like. It’s heavy work, and we’re often moving pieces around to show a customer a slab that’s buried in the back. We don’t have any polished sales pitches or corporate brochures. We just talk to people like neighbors and give them the best information we have about the stone. Most of our customers come from the Aminjikarai area, though we get people from all over the city because of our location on Nelson Manickam Road. We’re just a small team of people who know a lot about stone and enjoy doing this kind of work every day without any big fuss.
