Sugam Hospital

Our hospital is located right on T.H. Road in Thiruvottiyur. If you know Chennai, you know how busy this area gets. At number 349, there is always a lot of traffic passing by and the sounds of horns are just part of the background here. We have been at this address for a good while. The building isn't new, but it is solid. Inside, it feels a bit cooler than the street outside which is nice when the sun is really beating down on the road. We have a lot of rooms and the corridors can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to them. I usually tell people to just follow the signs we taped up on the walls. It is a very busy place because of where we are situated in North Chennai. There is always someone coming or going. We don't really have a big fancy lobby with plants. It’s mostly just rows of chairs and people waiting their turn. The staff stays busy from the moment we open the doors until we lock up. It’s a lot of walking back and forth on these tile floors. We keep things as clean as we can with so many feet coming through every day. It is just a regular hospital doing its thing on a very busy Chennai street. Sometimes the water cooler runs empty fast on hot days but we fix it and keep the glasses ready.
