Macse Bag House

People usually find us because they are already at the Broadway Bus Stand and need something to carry their things in. We are right there on Stringer Street, which is always a bit chaotic with all the traffic and people moving around. The shop has been here a long time, back when it was just Old No. 11, though the sign says New No. 53 now. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or glass doors. It’s just a bag house. We have bags piled up everywhere, from small pouches to big suitcases that take up a lot of floor space. My father started this and now we just keep it going. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the noise from the bus terminal right across the way, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't really do fancy displays. If you want a bag, you just come in and we dig through the stacks until we find the right one for you. It’s honest work and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. We aren't looking to become some huge chain. We just like being the local spot where someone can grab a sturdy bag before they catch their bus. It’s a bit dusty and the aisles are narrow, but that’s just how it is here in the heart of the city.
