State Govt General Hospital

This building is the Institute Of Bio Chemistry, which is part of the larger State Govt General Hospital grounds. It is a big, sprawling place and can be a bit confusing if you haven't been here before. We spend our days tucked away in the labs and the offices here. The walls are that plain off-white color you see in every government building, and the tiles on the floor are worn down from so many people walking over them for years. There is always a smell of chemicals and floor cleaner in the air. It is a busy environment with a lot of movement. Technicians are always carrying trays of samples back and forth, and the machines are constantly humming in the background. We have old metal cabinets filled with files that probably haven't been opened in a decade. The windows are high up and don't let in much light, so we rely on the fluorescent tubes overhead. It is a practical place where the work is the main focus. We don't have fancy lounges or coffee machines. Most of us just bring a thermos from home and drink it at our desks. Sometimes the lift breaks down and we have to take the stairs, which is quite a climb with heavy books. It is just a regular government facility doing what it needs to do for the public. Everyone is usually in a bit of a hurry, and there's always a stack of papers needing a stamp.
