Sri Vishnu Engineering

Sri Vishnu Engineering is based in the Sidco Industrial Estate, specifically in the Women Sector at Thirumudivakkam. We occupy units 37 and 38. Being in an industrial estate like Sidco means there is always something going on around us. We have been here for a while, and we’ve seen the estate grow quite a bit. Our space isn’t very large, but having two units gives us enough room to keep the machines in one spot and the finished work in another. We do all sorts of engineering work, mostly stuff that requires a bit of precision. We don't really have a sales pitch or a bunch of brochures. Usually, someone calls us up because they heard we could handle a specific job or they saw our sign while driving through Thirumudivakkam. The workshop is usually humming with the sound of tools and the fan running. We spend our days mostly looking at metal and making sure the dimensions are what they should be. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what we know how to do. The people working here have been with us for a good stretch, so we all know how the shop runs. It’s a practical environment. We don't worry about looking like a big corporate office. We just make sure the gates are open on time and the orders get moved out when they are ready. It’s just how we do things here at Sidco for our neighbors.
