Sri Shanthi Granite & Marbles

We have been here at No 832/597 on P H Road for quite a long time now. The yard is usually filled with granite and marble slabs of all different sizes and colors. Most of our days are spent out there moving these heavy pieces around. It is honest work, but it definitely gets your hands dirty and makes your back ache by the time evening rolls around. We are located right by the Panjalee Amman Kovil, which makes it pretty easy for people in Arumbakkam to find where we are. We don't have one of those fancy, air-conditioned showrooms you see in the city. Instead, we just have our materials and the tools we use to get them ready. When the sun is out, the stone gets warm, and when it rains, we have to cover everything up. People stop by all the time just to see what we have in stock for their kitchens or their floors. We don't try to push anything on them. We just show them what is available and let them decide. The traffic on P H Road is always moving, but inside the gate, we just focus on the job at hand. It is a simple way of doing business, and it has worked for us over the years. We know most of the people who come in by their names. We just want to provide the stone they need without making a big fuss about it. Our family has been involved in this for a long time, and we don't know any other way to work. We just keep the yard open and the slabs ready.
