We are right in the middle of Parrys, which is one of the oldest parts of Chennai. Our shop is at 130 Nyniappa Naicken Street. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know how tight the lanes are and how many people are constantly moving around. It’s a chaotic place, but there’s an energy to it that you don’t get anywhere else. We work with rice and agricultural technology. Basically, we handle the machines and the grains that keep things running. The building is old, and the walls have seen a lot of history. St. Park Town is just around the corner. We spend our days dealing with heavy bags and loud machinery. It’s dusty work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to head home. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations. The floor is concrete and the shelves are heavy-duty metal. It’s built for work, not for looking pretty. We get deliveries at odd hours because the trucks can only get through the narrow streets at certain times. It takes a lot of patience to run a business in this part of town. You have to be okay with the noise of the horns and the shouting of the street vendors. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice it anymore. It’s just home for us and our business.
