Sri Laxmi Traders

Our shop is located at Cp-6 on Water Tank Road, right in the heart of M.M.D.A. Colony. Arumbakkam is a busy neighborhood, and we are right in the thick of it. Sri Laxmi Traders is a small operation, mostly just me and a couple of helpers. We deal with a lot of different goods, so the space is usually stacked high with boxes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but I know exactly where everything is stored. The water tank nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We get a lot of foot traffic from people living in the colony. It’s nice because you get to know the regulars. We aren't a big supermarket or a fancy outlet. We’re just a local trading spot. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, and we have to carry everything by hand. It’s a bit of a workout, but we don't mind. We open up early and stay open until the sun goes down. There’s always someone coming in asking for this or that. We try to keep a bit of everything in stock. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s how we make our living. We don't use any fancy software for our accounts, just a big ledger and a pen. It works fine for us.
