Being in Chennai while dealing with agro products is a bit of a balance. We aren't out in the middle of a field, but we are the link that gets the stuff from the farm to the people who need it. The office is usually cluttered with samples and paperwork, and the phone rings more than we’d sometimes like. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the logistics and the sales side of things don’t fall apart. We deal with all sorts of different products depending on the season and what the farmers have ready. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure things move quickly so they don’t spoil. Ashok Nagar is a busy area, so there’s always something happening outside our door. We don't have any polished presentations to show people. Usually, we just show them the product and tell them the price. It’s very straightforward work. Some days are stressful when shipments get delayed in traffic or there’s a mix-up with an order, but we just fix it and move on. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the neighbors know us.
