Sree Venkadeswara Engineering

Sree Venkadeswara Engineering is located at No:1 in Pallavaram. We are right near the petrol bunk, which makes it easy to give people directions when they are trying to find us. The traffic in Pallavaram is always a bit much, so there’s a lot of honking outside our door. Inside, we have our lathes and welding equipment set up. It’s a practical space. We don’t have air conditioning, just some big industrial fans that move the air around. Our clothes usually have a few burn holes from the sparks, but that’s just part of the job. We have been at this location for some time. There is a tea stall a few doors down where we go twice a day. The guys working here have known each other for years. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call the number on the old board outside. We do a lot of small jobs for the local people and some bigger stuff for the factories nearby. The work is steady enough. We like the routine of opening up, getting the machines running, and seeing what needs to be fixed or made that day. It is a straightforward way to make a living. We try to keep things honest and just do what the customer asks us to do. There is always a lot of clanking and banging going on here.
