Sree Gurudev Marble & Garanite

We are over at 9 Redhills Road in Kolathur. Sree Gurudev Marble & Garanite is a local spot, and we try to keep things simple for everyone. Redhills Road can get pretty backed up with traffic in the evenings, so we see a lot of people sitting in their cars looking at our yard. It’s not a massive operation, just a regular yard where we keep our stock. We have marble and granite, mostly. The weather in Kolathur can be pretty humid, which makes working outside with heavy stone a bit of a chore for the staff. We all end up pretty tired by the end of the day. There isn't any fancy marketing going on here. we just have our name on the front and the stone piled up where people can see it. Sometimes we’re just sitting on a crate having tea while we wait for the next customer or delivery truck. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve seen the area change over the years, with new shops opening up nearby, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done. The stone is heavy, the sun is hot, and we just do the work. We don't have a polished website or anything like that. If people want to see what we have, they just have to come down to Redhills Road and take a look for themselves. It’s the easiest way to see the colors and the grains in the rock anyway. We are just here doing our thing and handling the stone.
