Being in Chromepet on Works Road, we are part of the daily life here. This place is both a medical college and a hospital. We have students running around and doctors doing their rounds. It’s a busy environment. There is always something happening. It might seem a bit chaotic if you aren't used to it. We deal with a lot of patients every day. People come from all over the area because we are easy to reach. The building itself has been here for a while. It shows some age, but it’s a working building. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel. It’s a place for learning and for getting better. Our days are long. The morning starts early with classes and clinics. By the afternoon, the halls are full of people. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. It’s a big responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time. The local shops nearby are where our students hang out for tea. Chromepet is home for us. We don’t use fancy words to describe what we do. We are just a hospital and a school.
