Spot Hospital

Our hospital is at No. 36, which used to be Old No. 16, on Dr. Ambedkar Road in Kodambakkam. The change in numbering can be a bit confusing for some people, but if you know the road, you can’t really miss us. We’ve been a fixture in Kodambakkam for quite some time now. The building has that lived-in feel of a place that has seen a lot of patients over the years. It’s a hospital, so things are usually moving fast, but we try to keep it from feeling too chaotic. We have different wards and treatment rooms across the floors. It’s not a brand-new glass building, but it’s sturdy and it works for what we need. Dr. Ambedkar Road is always full of life, and we are right in the middle of it. We see all kinds of cases every day. Some are quick visits and others are more serious. We don't have a PR team or anyone to polish up our image. We just show up, do the shifts, and help the people who walk through the doors. The staff knows the regulars by name, and we try to treat everyone fairly. It’s a local hospital for the local people. We don’t make big promises, we just do the medical work that needs doing. It’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but we think that’s okay as long as the care is there. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
