Unicorn Industries

If you know the Sowcarpet area, you know how busy Kasi Chetty Street gets. It is always crowded with carts and people moving around. We are at Number 14, up on the first floor of the building. You have to climb some very narrow stairs to get up to us. It is not the easiest place to carry heavy boxes up, but we manage it every day. The space is packed tight with everything we need for the business. It is an old building so the walls have some cracks and the paint is peeling in some spots. We do not really mind. We are not here to look at the walls all day. We are here to work. There is a lot of shouting and noise coming from the street below from morning until night. It is just the usual atmosphere of the market. We keep our windows open to get some air, even if it brings in some of the street dust. We have been in this spot for a long time now. People know us as the place on the first floor. We do not have a big fancy office with carpets. It is just a couple of desks and a lot of storage space. We drink a lot of strong coffee to keep ourselves going. Unicorn Industries is just a small part of this big busy street life.
