Snj Spices

Our shop is located at 32 Main Road on Anna Pillai Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. We deal in all kinds of spices, and our space is usually filled with the heavy scent of cardamom, cloves, and black pepper. It’s a narrow building, typical for this part of town, so we have to use every inch of space we have. Burlap sacks are stacked up against the walls, and there’s always someone weighing out portions for a customer. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or bright lights. Most people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them we have what they need. It’s a lot of physical work, hauling bags in from the trucks and sorting through the different grades of spice. The noise from the street never really stops, but we’re used to it by now. We take things as they come and don't worry too much about being the most modern shop on the block. We just focus on keeping the bins full and the quality decent. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with the spilled seeds or the dust, but that’s what happens when you’re working with natural stuff. It’s a busy, gritty kind of business, and we’re happy to be right in the middle of all the action.
