Sivas Masala

Sivas Masala is located on the first floor of the Bhagya Shree Apartment in Adyar. It might seem a bit strange to have a business in an apartment building, but it has worked out fine for us over the years. Our address is Plot No-4 on 1St Avenue Road, and the numbers changed from Old Number-33 to New Number-13, which sometimes confuses the delivery drivers. We spend our days grinding up spices and mixing different masalas together. The whole floor usually has a strong smell of turmeric and cloves. It is a small operation with just a few grinding machines and some tables where we pack everything into bags. We don't have a big glass storefront or a sign that lights up. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or friends who have been buying our spices for a long time. Indira Nagar is a nice, green area and we try to keep the noise down so we don't bother the people living in the other flats. It is mostly just family members working here. We don't bother with fancy labels or expensive advertising campaigns. We just put the masala in plain bags and seal them up by hand. Some of the bags might not look perfect, but we know the quality is good. This spot in Adyar has become our second home and we plan to stay here.
