Siva Meena Impex

Our office is at number 9 in the Ramhari Apartment building on Lloyds Road. It’s the old number 274 for anyone who has been around Gopalapuram for a long time. It is a bit of a tight space, filled mostly with desks and stacks of shipping documents. Being in the impex business means we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails about cargo. We don't have a big warehouse here; it is more of the administrative side of things. The traffic on Lloyds Road can be quite something during the afternoon, so we usually hear the horns honking while we work. Siva Meena Impex has been running out of this apartment for a while now. We deal with various goods coming in and going out, mostly just coordinating between suppliers and the docks. It is a lot of coordination. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit overwhelming, but we manage to get through it every day. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy uniforms or anything like that. Most of us just wear regular clothes and drink too much tea while we wait for confirmations. It’s a practical setup. We know the local shops around here well. When a shipment goes right, it is a good day. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next set of papers that need filing.
