Shriram Hospital

We've been over here at No. 53 First Main Road in Thirumalai Nagar Anex for quite a while now. Most people around Perungudi know where we are because we’ve been in the same spot for so long. It’s just a regular hospital setup. Nothing fancy or high-tech to look at from the outside. My brother and I started this place because the neighborhood really needed a medical spot close by that wasn't a huge drive away. We handle all the daily stuff that comes in, from scraped knees to regular coughs. If you're walking down First Main Road, you'll see our sign sticking out. It’s a busy street usually, especially in the mornings. We try to keep things organized but some days it gets a bit crowded in the waiting area and people have to stand for a bit. That's just how it goes in a place like this. We have a few rooms in the back for patients who need to stay over for a night or two. The staff mostly lives in the surrounding streets too, so they know the families who come in. It's not a big corporate chain with a fancy logo. It’s just Shriram Hospital. Sometimes the water cooler in the lobby acts up or the paint looks a bit dull in the hallway, but we do the actual work. People come in with all sorts of issues, and we do what we can to help them out. We’re open most of the time. You don't need a map to find us. It's just us.
