Shanthi Hospital

We are located at Plot No 18 on the East Coast Road. This is Shanthi Hospital, right in the Neelankarai and Thiruvanmiyur area. Being on the ECR means we get a lot of people passing by, but most of our patients are locals from the surrounding blocks. It’s a decent-sized building. We’ve stayed here because it’s a good spot for the community. We handle all sorts of medical cases, from minor injuries to more serious stuff that requires staying overnight. We don't have a PR team or a fancy website. We just focus on the people walking through the doors. The wait times can vary, especially on weekends when things get busy on the coast road, but we try to see everyone as fast as we can. Our rooms are plain and simple. We think that’s fine as long as they are clean and the equipment works. A lot of the staff have been with us for years. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We aren't trying to expand into a giant network. We like being the local hospital for Neelankarai. If you need us, you know where to find us. We keep our heads down and just get on with the work of looking after people. It is a simple life but it keeps us busy every day.
