Shalini Juize & Spice

Down at 61 Santham Colony in Anna Nagar, you will find Shalini Juize & Spice. It is a bit of a mix here because we handle both fresh juices and various spices, which might seem odd to some, but it works for us. The colony is usually a bit quieter than the main roads of Anna Nagar, which is nice for a change. We have a couple of heavy-duty blenders that make a lot of noise when we are prepping things, and the scent of ground pepper or turmeric often mixes with the sweet smell of fruit. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be organized with how we store the jars and the crates. We have a small refrigerator that hums constantly in the corner, keeping everything cold. Most of our visitors are people living nearby who walk over in the evenings. We don't have any flashy signs or bright lights, just a simple board outside. Usually, one of us is busy cleaning the counters or checking the spice levels while someone else waits for a delivery. It’s a practical setup and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn down from people coming in and out, but that just shows we’ve been here a while. It is a steady, quiet kind of business that keeps us occupied throughout the week.
