Sendhamarai Engineering Pvt Ltd is a bit unique because we are based out of SC-4 in the Selfin Appartment at No 54P V Rajamannar Salai in K K Nagar. It’s not your typical factory setting. Being in a residential apartment building means we have to be a bit more mindful of our neighbors than if we were in a big industrial zone. Our office is basically a converted flat, so it has a very homey, local feel to it. You won't find any giant signs or flashy displays here. Most of our neighbors probably just think we are another family living in the building until they see the boxes and the staff coming in for work. We handle engineering projects and administrative tasks from this space. It’s a bit cramped when we have a full crew in, but we like the neighborhood. K K Nagar is a nice area with plenty of trees and good spots to grab a meal. We don’t have a corporate hierarchy here; everyone just pitches in where they are needed. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We focus on getting the technical details right and making sure our clients are happy, without the need for a big glass office. Our paperwork is usually stacked high on the dining-style tables we use as desks, but we know where everything is. It works for us.
