Assocaited Engg. Concerns is based at No:1, Officers Colony, in the 1st Mehta Nagar area of Aminjikarai. We’ve been operating from this little corner for a good while. Engineering can sound complicated to some people, but for us, it’s just about solving problems with whatever tools we have. Our office is in a residential-feeling part of Aminjikarai, which makes it feel more like a part of the community than a cold business center. We handle various engineering concerns, usually involving local infrastructure or small-scale industrial projects. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here; we just talk to each other and get the work done. You’ll often find us leaning over a table looking at site plans or talking to contractors on the phone. Mehta Nagar is a busy place, and being right at the start of Officers Colony means we see a lot of the local goings-on. We don’t go in for fancy mission statements or trying to sound like we’re the biggest company in the city. We’re just a group of people who know how things work and how to fix them when they don’t. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with samples and old files, but we know where everything is. It’s a steady way of life, and we take pride in the fact that we’ve stayed in the same spot for so many years without needing to change much.
