Flow-Tech Hydraulics

You can find us at No: 3 in the Siva Sakthi Shopping Complex. It is over at 24 E on S N Road. The complex gets pretty busy on the weekends but during the week it is mostly just us and the other shop owners hanging around. Flow-Tech Hydraulics is where we spend our ten-hour shifts most days. There is always a faint smell of hydraulic fluid in the air which stays on your clothes even after you go home. We have some shelves lined with various parts and hoses that we’ve collected over the years. It is not a huge space so we have to be careful where we step. The lighting in the back is a bit dim but we know where everything is by heart now. Customers usually find us because of the sign out front, though sometimes they wander in looking for the shop next door by mistake. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk with a lot of receipts and a computer that takes a while to start up in the morning. S N Road has changed a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and others closing down. We just keep doing what we do. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the front door when it pours hard, so we keep a bucket handy for those times. It's just a regular local business trying to get the work out on time. Most of our day is spent handling greasy parts and talking to drivers.
