If you head over to the SIDCO Industrial Estate in Ambattur, you’ll find us at Plot 121. It’s a busy place. There is always the sound of machines running or someone hammering something in the back. We do a lot of hydraulic work here. My father started this place, and now we just keep it going day by day. The floor is usually covered in oil spots. It's a shop, not a showroom. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints or taking apart cylinders that have seen better days. The heat in Ambattur can get pretty bad during the summer months, but the fans keep things moving. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a handful of us who know our way around a wrench. We get parts delivered at the TASS industrial plots all the time. Sometimes the trucks block the entrance for a bit. We don’t mind. It’s part of the trade. Usually, our hands are stained black from the grease, and we don’t really bother with uniforms much. Just old shirts that can handle the grime. If someone needs an engineering fix, they usually just walk in and ask. We don't have a receptionist. You just find one of us near the lathes. It’s loud, it’s messy, and it’s how we’ve always done things. We stay until the job is done, even if it’s late. There is always work to do.
