Selvan Soda

Selvan Soda is located at 42, Station Road in Korattur. We have been operating from this same spot for many years now. The station road is a very active place with people constantly walking to the train station or coming back into the neighborhood. We are right in the middle of all that movement. Our shop isn't very big and we don't have much in the way of decoration. It’s just a practical place for people to get a soda. Being near the station means we have to be ready for the rush when a train arrives. Sometimes the trains are late and more people end up stopping by our counter. We just keep our heads down and serve everyone as fast as we can. The weather here in Korattur can get quite warm, so a cold soda is usually what people are looking for. We don't have any tables or chairs, most customers just drink their soda and continue on their way. We have lived around this area for a long time, so we know how the neighborhood has changed. Station Road has many more shops now than when we first opened at number 42. We are a straightforward business without any big corporate plans. We just buy our supplies, make the soda, and sell it to whoever is thirsty. If you are ever walking towards the Korattur station, you’ll see our small sign. We are usually there from early morning until late at night.
