Selvam Impex

You can find Selvam Impex on the third floor of 123/2 on Rama Naicken Street. It’s one of those older streets in the neighborhood that’s always full of life and usually a bit of chaos. We’ve been in this exact spot for quite some time now. Being up on the third floor means we get a little bit of a break from the noise down on the street, but you can still hear the car horns honking all day long. Our work is mostly focused on import and export stuff. That means a lot of customs forms, tracking various shipments, and talking to different vendors on the phone. The office is usually stacked with samples and boxes that haven't been cleared out yet. It’s not the tidiest place you'll ever see, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have a receptionist at the front; usually, whoever happens to be closest to the door just looks up and says hello. Most of us here just wear regular clothes and get on with our daily tasks. It’s a practical and simple setup. We handle a lot of different types of goods, so the paperwork is never really the same two days in a row. Rama Naicken Street is a good place for a business like ours because everything we need is close by. We don't really put much effort into how the office looks to outsiders. As long as the shipments are going out and coming in on time, we’re happy with how things are.
