If you head down Poonamallee High Road in Kilpauk, you’ll find us on the 8th floor of the Ega Trade Centre. Scs Group Of Companies has been operating out of this spot at number 318 for quite a while. Being up on the 8th floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the traffic below, though you can still hear the horns if the windows are open on a hot day. The office is a busy place. We have people coming and going all day because we handle a variety of different business interests under one roof. It’s not always perfectly tidy. There are always binders and maps and schedules spread across the desks. We spend a lot of time on local coordination and making sure the different branches are talking to each other. Kilpauk is a central area, so it's convenient for most of the staff, even if the High Road gets incredibly crowded during rush hour. We don’t really do the whole corporate polish thing. We’re more about just getting the task finished. Most days involve a lot of coffee and a lot of problem-solving. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We have our routine, we have our desks, and we just work through the pile of things that need to be done before the day ends. We just take things as they come and try to keep the group moving forward.
