Sathvin Engineers

Sathvin Engineers is based at No 69 B in Venkatarathnam Nagar, which is a nice little pocket of Adyar. We’ve been working from this spot for quite some time now. We aren't a massive engineering firm with hundreds of employees. We’re a smaller team that handles mechanical and technical jobs. Our workshop is usually a bit of a mess with tools, drawings, and pieces of machinery scattered around. That’s just how we work best. If everything is too clean, it feels like nothing is getting done. We spend a lot of our time solving small problems that come up in bigger projects. Sometimes we have to go out to a site and get our hands dirty, and other times we’re stuck at the desk doing calculations. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation about a part or a plan. Adyar is a great place to be, and we like being close to our clients here. We don’t go in for big promises or glossy brochures. We just tell people what we can do and then we go ahead and do it. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We’ve had our share of long nights and difficult designs, but we always figure it out eventually. It takes a lot of patience to get the engineering right, and we’ve got plenty of that after all these years.
