Om Sakthi Garden Works

Our place is right on Gandhi Main Road in Sankar Nagar. If you walk past No. 21, you’ll probably see us messing around with plants or loading up some tools. Gardening is hard on the back, but it's what we know. We aren't a big corporation with fancy trucks; we just have what we need to get the plants in the ground. Most of the time, our boots are covered in mud and our hands are stained from the soil. It’s been that way for years. We spend our days out at different houses or plots, trying to make things grow. Sometimes the soil is bad and we have to work it for a long time before it’s any good for planting. We don’t use any complicated systems, just basic tools and some knowledge about what grows well in this heat. Sankar Nagar is a decent area and we know a lot of the folks around here. They see us heading out in the morning and coming back late. We don't have a receptionist or a big office, just this spot on the main road. If we aren't there, we're probably out digging a hole somewhere. It’s just simple work. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the gardening that needs doing. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We like being outside, even when it’s raining or too hot for most people. That is just how the work goes.
