Salcomp

Salcomp is located at No. 17/9 on Sivalingam Street in the Ayanavaram area of Chennai. This city is a huge, busy place, but this particular neighborhood feels a bit more like a traditional community. We work with various types of components in this facility. Sivalingam Street is a very narrow and busy road, so there is always some kind of noise or activity going on right outside our front doors. Inside the building, things are a bit more focused and quiet. We have a set routine that we follow every day. The workers arrive in the morning, get to their specific stations, and we start on the day's production tasks. We aren't trying to be a flashy or modern company. The building is an older style that fits right in with the rest of Ayanavaram. We have been a part of this local area for a long time now. We know most of the shopkeepers on the street and we know exactly where to go to get the best hot tea in the afternoon. It is not a corporate headquarters with fancy floors or glass walls. It is just a practical working space. There is always a lot of clicking and humming coming from the equipment we use. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the job done. Sometimes getting the supply trucks in and out of such a tight street is a challenge, but we manage.
