Sri Sun Traders

Sri Sun Traders is located at No 29 Shop1 on the Poonamallee Bypass Road. The address says Poonamallee Bypass Road twice, which basically tells you exactly where we are—right out there where the big trucks go by. We are in the Arimenthanallur area. It’s a bit of a dusty spot because of all the construction and the traffic on the bypass. Our shop is just one unit in a row of others. It’s a practical space. We have some shelves, a counter, and not much else. There isn't any fancy decor or air conditioning. We just leave the door open and let the breeze in, even if it brings a bit of road grit with it. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, which I guess is why the name fits. We spend a lot of time watching the traffic and waiting for the next delivery. Arimenthanallur is growing, so there’s always something new being built nearby. It’s not the quietest place to work, but you get used to the sound of the engines. We don’t have a big team. It’s just a couple of us handling everything. Sometimes we close up for a bit to go get a meal down the road. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t use any marketing tricks. If someone needs what we have, they stop their vehicle and come in. That’s how it’s always been for us at this shop.
