Sivam Electronics

Our shop is over on Meeran Sahib Street inside the Ram Lakhan Chamber. If you know Mount Road you know it is a lot of walking and heavy traffic. We are at number 24. The building is one of those older ones where you really have to look for the sign to find us. Inside it is mostly just us and the electronics. There is always the smell of something being soldered or just that old dust you find in electronics places. We have shelves filled with parts and some finished units too. It is not a big corporate store. It is just a place where we sit and work through the day. Sometimes we have a radio playing in the background but usually it is just the sound of the street coming through the windows. Customers come in looking for very specific things and we have to go digging through the back to find them. The desk is usually covered in papers and maybe a half-eaten lunch. We do not have a lot of staff just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It has been this way for a while now. We have seen the street change quite a bit over the years. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching people go by. Other days everyone seems to need something fixed at once. We just take it as it comes and try to get through the pile of work on the bench.
