Our office is located at 2/300 Mettu Street in Ariyalur Sankarapuram, which is part of the Villupuram district. Salcomp Powering The Mobile World Pvt Ltd sounds like a big name, but on the ground here, it is just a bunch of us working on mobile technology components. Being in a place like Sankarapuram means we are away from the big city rush, which is nice in some ways but has its own set of challenges. Most of the people working here are locals from around the district. We spend our days dealing with the technical side of mobile power systems. It’s quiet on our street usually, except when the staff is arriving or leaving for the day. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just desks, equipment, and a lot of wires. It’s interesting to see how much goes into a phone part before it ever reaches a customer. We just handle our bit of the process here in Tamilnadu. The weather is usually quite warm, so we keep the fans going. It’s a steady kind of life, working through the tasks and making sure the mobile units we handle are sorted properly before they move on. It is just us, doing the work that needs to be done.
