Sake N Sip

We've been here on Muthuranga Mudali Street for a while now. If you walk down the road in West Tambaram, you probably know the spot. It's not a very big place, just number 36, but it gets the job done. We mostly spend our mornings getting everything ready before the sun gets too high and people start coming in. It's usually a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the shops nearby, but we like it that way. Someone is always around to handle things, whether it's making a drink or just chatting with a regular. We don't really do much fancy stuff here. We just focus on what's in front of us. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather is hot and everyone wants something cold. You might see us sitting outside on a stool during the quiet gaps. The shop has its quirks, like the door that sticks a bit when it rains, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We know most of the neighbors by name now. It feels right being part of this little stretch of the street. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays clean and the fridge is full. There’s always work to do, but we take it slow when we can. That’s just how it goes for us here in Tambaram every single day.
