Sai Krishna Spices

Sai Krishna Spices is tucked away on Gangai Amman Koil Street. We are at number seven in Jaffarkhanpet. If you walk down the street, you can usually smell whatever we are packing that day. It’s a narrow road, so it gets a bit tight when the delivery vans come through. We’ve been in this neighborhood for quite some time now. The building is old, and we’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times. Inside, it’s mostly bags of different spices and a few tables for sorting. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we aren’t all related. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy decorations. We’d rather just make sure the spices are good and the weights are right. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask for a small favor. It’s a noisy part of town, but we’re used to it. We spend our hours filling bags and sealing them up. It’s repetitive work, but it keeps us busy. We don't claim to be the best or anything like that. We just do our work and go home. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust, and the lights flicker sometimes. It’s just a normal spice shop in a busy Chennai street where we try to do things right. We don't need much else to be happy.
