S S Juice

Our shop, S S Juice, is at 39, Mount Poonamalle High Road in Kamatchi Nagar, Kattupakkam. This road is always packed with cars, bikes, and buses. It is very loud outside all day and into the night. We have a small space where we make fresh juices for anyone who stops by. We get a lot of workers and people commuting to work who stop for a quick drink. They are usually in a big hurry to get where they are going. We have some glass jars of fruit on display so people can see what is fresh that day. It is nothing fancy, just a simple counter and some mixers. We have to sweep the floor several times a day because of all the dust coming in from the high road. It is just me and another guy working most of the shifts. We do not really get much of a break when it is lunch time. People want their drinks fast. We use a lot of ice because the heat here is quite intense. Sometimes the supply of lemons or seasonal fruit is low, so we have to change the prices on our small board. We have been in this location for a while, so the local people know us. It is a decent spot even with all the traffic noise. We just keep squeezing the fruit and serving whoever comes to the window.
