If you’re looking for S G Engineering, we are at New No 35, right across the street from Singapore Plaza on Arcot Road. Being in Saligramam means it’s always lively around here. There’s a lot of traffic on Arcot Road, and you can hear the buses and horns all day long while we work. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty and actually build or fix things. We have a few machines and a lot of tools scattered around. It’s organized in a way that only we really understand, I guess. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or a glossy brochure to hand out to people. Usually, someone is just wearing work clothes and will talk to you over the noise of the machines. We’ve been at this Saligramam location for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. Singapore Plaza is a good landmark for people to find us, otherwise they might miss our door in the middle of all the other shops. We just focus on the engineering side of things and try to do a solid job every day. It’s a simple life here. We start early, work through the heat, and close up when the sun goes down. There isn't much more to it than that.
