Rsn & Gr'S Cafe Beyond Temptation

Rsn & Gr'S Cafe Beyond Temptation is tucked away at 1-24-73 Tilak Road. We are in the Varadaraja Nagar area. It is a nice spot for a cafe. We have a few tables inside and a couple outside on the sidewalk. The sidewalk ones are popular when it’s not too hot. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen area. It’s small but we make it work. The stove is always going. We make things that people like to eat while they chat. The menu is just written on a chalkboard. Sometimes we run out of chalk and have to use a marker. It looks a bit messy but people can still read it. The chairs are a mix of different styles. We bought them at different times so they don't really match. We think it gives the place a bit of character. Most of our regulars are students or people who live nearby. They stay for a long time sometimes. We don't mind as long as they are happy. The music we play is usually just whatever is on the phone of whoever is working that day. Sometimes it’s fast and sometimes it’s slow. We have a big window that lets in a lot of light. We try to keep it clean but the street dust is a constant battle. We just enjoy the daily flow of people. It’s a good way to spend the day, watching the world go by from Tilak Road. Sometimes we even forget what time it is until it gets dark.
